Mount Washington in New Hampshire. This was taken from the entrance to the Cog Railway looking back down into the valley straight north. The valley that is the small area of light is part of the town of Jefferson Highland. The far mountains are Mount Waumbek.
So, this is me in my parka. This was 2015 and the year that Massachusetts had 108" of snow. Yea, that's about nine feet! Well, it wasn't all at once but over (I think) about one month.(January and February) The snow in Boston was moved from the streets to the Snow dumping ground (The ocean wasn't an option because of all the salt and crap in the snow collected). The last of that snow finally melted by June. Yea, it took nearly four months to melt the mountain of snow. People called Snowmageddon.
Driving over the Golden Gate Bridge at sunset. I have relatives in San Francisco and used to visit every summer. It holds a special place in my heart (isn't there a song....?)
One of my favorite places to stay when I visit Rhode Island is the Providence Hotel in downtown Providence. This is the older part of the hotel (built in 1882) looking up from the bottom floor.
